Facebook Pages Changing Soon - 6 updates.

Just like the new Facebook Timelines set to change on March 30th, 2012 your Facebook page will also have a new look. The new look is similar to the Timeline view. What are some of the updates?

1. Your cover photo will be the first thing people see.
Easy to find.  Top left hand corner

2. Profile picture or logo will need to be square and at least 180 pixels wide.
Clean format and the view is just like the personal page.

3. Now you can Highlight what's important.
Photos will show in the first spot. Then you can change the order of everything else.  Only a maximum of 12 apps, so make sure the most important apps are first.

4. Timeline format
You can hover over a story to make it wider or on the pencil to pin it to the top of your page.  You'll be able to hide or delete it entirely.

5. Manage everything in one place from your admin panel
The admin panel can be hidden when not in use. It can be found in the top right hand corner.

6. Respond to messages privately.
Love it! Now people  can contact you privately using messages.

7. Yes, you can now request a Fan Page name change.
If you misspelled your name, business name or just changed companies Facebook now gives you the option to request a change. Click Now - to navigate to Facebook Fan page name change.

Take time to get familiar with the changes.  If you are currently using the Timeline format on your personal page this will be an easy transition.
